I never realized just how close Montreal was to NY until I looked up the flight time. (Just under an hour!) As I began my research for what to do, I also never realized just how much Montreal had to offer. History, food, culture. I would only be visiting for two days, but I was determined to take in as much of the city as I could.
To be completely transparent, this trip didn't go as planned at all. Conflicts and weather put a damper on things quickly and I ended up having to leave early. While I didn't get to see or do much, I absolutely fell in love with what I did get to experience of Montreal. (I did get to see Notre Dame though which was incredible.) With Montreal so close by, there is no doubt in my mind that I will be back soon. (And this time, solo...)
